Stock prices are on the downside, falling to 1,470, amid negative sentiment in European markets as well, in the wake of yesterday’s fall on Wall Street on concerns of higher interest rates for a longer period of time.

The General Price Index, at 13:00, stands at 1,470.56 units, marking a drop of 0.75%.

The value of the transactions amounts to 24.65 million euros.

The large-cap index is down 0.67%, while the mid-cap index is down 0.88%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was registered by the shares of OPAP (+0.87%) and Quest Participations (+0.36%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was registered by the shares of Motor Oil (-2.17%), Viohalvo (-1.52%), Eurobank (-1.39%) and GEK TERNA (-1.20%).

Alpha Bank and Eurobank show the largest volume of transactions, with 1,060,293 and 820,334 shares, respectively.

Mytilineos with 4.42 million euros and Ethniki with 2.32 million euros have the highest transaction value.

23 shares move up, 79 down and 16 remain stable.

The biggest increase is registered by the shares Chaidemenos +14.17% and Doppler +6.45%.

The largest declines were recorded by the shares of Attic Publishing -9.95% and Sato -8.82%.
