The stock market closed with a marginal increase in today’s session, as share prices managed to erase the initial significant losses caused by the negative climate that prevailed in the European stock markets, in the wake of the result of yesterday’s elections, with a focus on the retreat of the French market .

The General Price Index closed at 1,458.84 points, marking a marginal increase of 0.03%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,440.91 units (-1.20%) and a higher price at 1,461.76 units (+0.23%).

The value of the transactions fell significantly and amounted to 79.43 million euros, while 17,150,421 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.15%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.20%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Eurobank (+3.00%), Lamda Develoment (+1.50%), Terna Energy (+096%) and Ethniki (+0.80%) ).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Elactor (-1.62%), Motor Oil (-1.61%), Jumbo (-1.60%) and Titan (-1.45%).

Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 4,337,742 and 3,735,469 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 11.68 million euros and Piraeus with 9.81 million euros.

47 stocks moved up, 60 down and 12 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Ekter +7.75% and Mevaco +5.00%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Vioter -7.91% and Akritas -5.06%.
