Market Intelligence: Tok&Stok partners with Rolling Stones and launches products to celebrate 60 years of the band

by

Tok&Stok launched a special line of products in partnership with the Rolling Stones to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the British band. The collection includes several decor accessories with snippets of music (like “It’s only rock ‘n’ roll”) and the group’s iconic logo — the red mouth with the tongue sticking out.

The line features pieces in red, black and gray, with an industrial touch of urban trend and stone print. Duvet, sheet, bowl, dessert plate, beer glass, lamp, cushion cover, mouse pad and laundry basket are part of the collection.

According to Tok&Stok, the angles, references to moments between shows and details of the photos were inspired by the photographers who accompanied the band and portrayed the different moments with a camera in hand.

The sale of products takes place in 64 physical stores across the country, in addition to the official website or the application. Prices range from R$6.90 for a small aperitif cup to R$400 for a set of bed linen.

The band was officially formed in 1962, in London, and currently has Mick Jagger, Keith Richards – both of the original composition – Ron Wood and Steve Jordan, who replaced drummer Charlie Watts, who died in 2021.

“The idea is to bring together the unique attitude of the rocker lifestyle and the love for music”, says Renata Saad, head of marketing and communication at Tok&Stok. “We are very excited about the partnership, it connects us with our audience and is a great opportunity to celebrate the band’s 60th anniversary with fans, and inside their homes, with style and authenticity”, says the executive.

“These are everyday products that are part of the brand’s concept of always seeking to combine designs, bold creations and design at affordable prices and practical solutions”, says Edson Coutinho, Tok&Stok’s design and trends manager.

“It’s a retrospective of the history of the most iconic band in the world told in decoration products”, says Coutinho.

“As a backdrop, we chose a gray that simulates black jeans, rocked by the experience of this ‘rocker’ consumer, fan of the band.”
