Artificial intelligence tools have started to be used today by the HR departments of Greek companies. Although 39.6% of HR Managers claim ignorance on the subject, most of the respondents – specifically 41% – stated that the company they work for supports the use of artificial intelligence tools.
This percentage is a little lower than the average of the rest of the countries, with Bulgaria leading the way (69.2%), followed by Hungary (62.3%) and Romania (54.6%). Despite the positive climate that exists, artificial intelligence has not yet managed to be fully integrated in the field of HR, with 78% giving a negative answer to the corresponding question, while 56.8% do not use it even in personal activities.
The reasons for supporting the practice of using AI tools seem to be even more important, as 34.7% of HR managers believe that it eases the workload of employees and saves more time.
This opinion is shared by half of the respondents in Hungary and 46% of HR Managers in Bulgaria, according to a survey by the “Poudouleveis.gr” website. Survey participants state that these tools can automate certain tasks, resulting – according to 34.8% – in less reliance on external partners.

The vast majority of HR managers (67.2%) prefer ChatGTP, which is also particularly popular in the remaining countries: Bulgaria 83.2%, Moldova 81.2%, Romania 58.1% and Hungary 52%. As a result, 32.8% of respondents in Greece are considering promoting the provision of training to improve workers’ skills in using AI tools.
Regarding the consequences of the use of AI tools in the workplace by the respondents in Greece, 28.3% believe that the integration of artificial intelligence tools will improve the quality of work, while 24.8% claim that the influence it can be positive, as long as we take care to take the necessary measures to protect jobs.
A percentage of 22.4% shows a concern about the effect of the use of AI on the labor market and society in general, while 21.9% consider that these tools will facilitate workers and significantly help the development of society.
When asked how to ensure that AI is used responsibly and ethically in the workplace, 38.2% supported ensuring transparency and accountability, while 30.2% saw quantification and evaluation as equally important of the results from its use.
Finally, the great majority (60%) argue that the responsibility for the effects of artificial intelligence in the workplace rests exclusively with the employer, with the corresponding percentages reaching 64.7% in Hungary and 64% in Bulgaria.
