“Anti-profiteering measures are paying off – Food inflation to drop to near zero by summer” says development minister
To be precise, which is the most important problem of the Greeks, Minister of Development Takis Theodorikakos spoke today as a guest on SKAI.
“At the moment we are upgrading 20 industrial parks and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the industry sector with 90 million euros, and all of this matters for the lives of citizens. One side of the matter is how much the product you buy costs and the other is the salary, employment and job growth, in which we are achieving things,” said Mr. Theodorikakos.
They deliver the anti-profiteering measures
“Our goal is to do everything to de-escalate the inflation in food and already living” said the minister.
“We are strengthening the supervisory mechanisms of the General Secretariat of Commerce and DYMEA and have tightened the framework of fines
This policy is working. I appreciate that within the summer we will be approximately to zero to food inflation ” said the Minister of Development.
Even then though – when food inflation drops to near zero – this will not be enough for us. The effort will continue because our perception is to increase the wealth produced and to distribute it more fairly to everyone, so that pensioners and the average Greek family also get a dividend,” said Takis Theodorikakos.
