From the Sub-Directorate of the Economic Police of Northern Greece, 4 people were arrested, who are active in liquid fuel trading and trading businesses, as it was found that they illegally stored and traded liquid fuel – without a license and documents.

This is the owner of a petrol station, owners of businesses engaged in the transport of petroleum products and goods, as well as a tanker driver, against whom a case file was filed for violation of the national customs code and the legislation on the organization of the petroleum market.

A related complaint was investigated and from the control carried out with the assistance of the employees of the Customs Audit Service (EL.Y.T.), a total of 2 tons and 351 liters of liquid fuel were found in a house, vehicle and storage areas of the above fuel station. which were stored and traded illegally without permission and documents.

The quantities in question were reserved by EL.Y.T. and samples were taken, in order to be sent for examination to the competent Chemical Service. Those arrested were taken to the competent prosecutor’s office and referred to the Single-member Misdemeanor Court of Thessaloniki.
