Applications are being extended for a new round of green skills training for 50,000 unemployed people
Due to the great interest, the submission of applications for trainees for the new green skills acquisition and upgrading program of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) for 50,000 unemployed is extended until Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 23:59, while tomorrow, Friday, July 12, 2024 , the submission of applications from continuing professional training providers to participate in the program begins.
As stated in a relevant announcement, the new program is implemented through the process of the training voucher system within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with funding from the European Union-NextGenerationEU and aims to link training with the needs of the labor market and strengthening the employability of the unemployed for their faster reintegration into work, in the context of the green transition of the economy.
Each trainee will attend a theoretical training program, with a total duration of 80 hours, of which 12 hours with live training, at least 48 hours with modern distance training and up to 20 hours with asynchronous distance training.
After completing the training, the beneficiaries will participate in knowledge and skills certification exams by independent bodies and, those who succeed, will receive the full training allowance, which amounts to up to 400 euros (5 euros per hour of training).
The unemployed can apply for participation at: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/anergia/eggraphe-sto-metrooopheloumenon-se-programmata-sunekhizomenes-epaggelmatikes-katartises-giaanabathmise-prasinon- dexioteton.
