Stock prices closed with a slight increase in today’s Stock Exchange session, with the market exceeding the levels of 1,450 units, amid an upward movement of the European markets.

The General Price Index closed at 1,452.28 points, marking an increase of 0.44%.

On a weekly basis, the main stock market index rose by 0.82%, while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of 12.31%

The value of transactions amounted to 103.91 million euros, while 18,339,744 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.61%, while the mid-cap index rose marginally to 0.32%.

Of the large-cap stocks, the biggest gains were recorded by the shares of Coca Cola HBC (+2.67%), Alpha Bank (+2.44%), Lamda Development (+1.78%) and Piraeus ( +1.58%).

On the contrary, the biggest drop was recorded by the shares of Autohellas (-1.67%), Motor Oil (-1.48%), National National (-1.43%) and PPC (-1.43%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Ethniki, trading 4,326,954 and 2,831,370 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by National with 22.31 million euros and Jumbo with 14.89 million euros.

60 stocks moved up, 36 fell and 15 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Kecrops +6.38% and Minerva +5.88%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Attica Bank -7.58% and Domiki Kritis -3.92%.
