The TAIPED, a member company of the Superfund, announces the start of the tender process for the development of the “Andreas Lentakis” Government Park, estimated worth 421 million euros (plus VAT).

Government Park, a small “city” within the city, will be expanded 154 acres, and will include the creation of a new administrative office complex at the facilities of EVO – PYRKAL, including the development of a large urban park that will act as a “green lung” in the wider area of ​​the Municipality of Dafni – Ymittos, in the Region of Attica.

The play

The project will be carried out through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and the preferred investor will undertake the construction, financing, maintenance and operation for 30 years of the new administrative complex of buildings and the urban park.

The tender process will be conducted in two phases. The first phase concerns the pre-selection of candidates based on technical and financial capacity criteria and the second the submission of binding financial offers. Interested investors are invited to submit an expression of interest file by September 6, 2024.

Contest

The Strategic Importance Contracts Unit (PPF) of TAIPED was appointed by the Government Committee responsible for the maturation, the execution of the tender process and the monitoring of the execution of the contracts for the implementation of the project.

The creation of the Government Park is one of the largest PPP projects ever announced in the country, but also an emblematic investment with multiple economic, social and environmental benefits: concentration of fragmented services in a single space, savings for the State and upgrading of quality lives of the residents of the wider area of ​​the Municipality of Dafni-Ymittos.
