Ralf Schumacher announced that he is gay. The German ex-Formula 1 driver and brother of motorsport legend Michael uploaded a picture on Instagram hugging his partner, who he has been with for around two years.
“The most beautiful thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything“, wrote the 49-year-old man.
“I love you both very much. You have the best partner, Etienne, you could ever imagine. After two years you can finally reveal your love to the world“, Ralf Schumacher’s close friend and actress, Carmen Geiss, commented under the post.
For a number of years there were rumors about Ralf Schumacher’s personal life, which had continued despite his marriage to Cora Brinkman, with whom he lived for 14 years and had a sonDavid, who has followed in his father’s footsteps and is a racing driver.
Ralf Schumacher raced in Formula 1 from 1997 to 2007 with Jordan, Williams and Toyota, taking six wins and a total of 27 podiums. His best finish was fourth in 2001 and 2002.
