The stock market is in the green today after yesterday’s “sell-off”
Stock prices are recovering at the opening of today’s session, amid upward movement and the European stock markets in an attempt to react, after yesterday’s “sell-off”. Strong recovery for the Nikkei index (+10.24%), after Monday’s massive sell-off.
The General Price Index at 11:00, stands at 1,375.85 points, marking an increase of 2.58%.
The value of the transactions amounts to 18.95 million euros.
The large-cap index is up 2.81%, while the mid-cap index is up 1.70%.
All the high capitalization shares are moving upwards and the biggest increase is recorded by the shares of Piraeus (+4.11%), Motor Oil (+4.07%), ELPE (+3.60%), Autohellas (+ 3.40%) and Mytilene (+3.11%).
The banking sector recorded an increase of 2.89%.
85 stocks move up, 8 fall and 5 remain stable.
The biggest increase is registered by the shares: Space Hellas +5.88% and Mathios Pyrimaha +5.68%, while the biggest decline is recorded by the shares: Centric -1.57% and Karelias -1.21%.
