Covid-19 self-tests are already available on the e-commerce of large pharmacy chains, but they can take more than a week to reach the patient.

The medical recommendation is that the exam be done between the 1st and 7th day from the onset of symptoms or on the 5th day after contact with an infected person.

At Pacheco and São Paulo drugstores, the delivery time for the self-test in the central region of São Paulo is up to ten working days.

On the websites and apps of Droga Raia and Drogasil, delivery times vary according to the region, according to the company. Searching for the same location, the forecast is up to seven business days.

There is also the possibility of buying through the website and withdrawing from a store in the capital from this Thursday (3), according to Raia Drogasil. The company says that the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) self-test, the first to be released by Anvisa, will be on the shelves of 350 pharmacies in the network in the capital of São Paulo.

According to Raia Drogasil, the chain’s units in the interior of São Paulo and in other states should have the product available this weekend.

In the physical stores of the Pacheco and São Paulo networks, the sale of self-tests is expected to start this Friday (4).
