See which professional sectors will be obliged to comply with the Digital Clientele from next month
Doctors, garages, parking and rental companies, gyms, hotels, event and tour operatorsare some of them professional branches who from next month will be obliged to comply with the Digital Clientele.
This is an accounting program, which will be open during the operation of the professional establishment and will be interconnected with the Taxisso that the data cannot be tampered with and altered.
In this way the number of clients of each professional will be recorded and compared with the number of service receipts issued and transmitted to the e-books myData. If it is found that a limited number of customers are declared in a professional establishment, then this will be a criterion for carrying out an on-site inspection.
Especially for workshops – which AADE has been classified in the “high risk” list – detailed mapping-recording is also carried out by the Ministry of Transport, thus enabling the tax authority to accurately proceed with the obligation of the Digital Client List.
In this special Register, data such as: the total number of garages in the country (per Region, Regional Unit, etc.) will be entered. If it is private or public, the category of workshops (for heavy or light vehicles), the number of responsible technicians, building facilities, etc.
Fees and uninsured…
AADE, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance, will develop from September a special platform for intersections, in order to identify uninsured vehicles, unpaid traffic fees, and those without KTEO.
Controls will be carried out once every six months, while fines for offenders will start from 250 euros and may reach, depending on the violation, in case of recurrence, even 30,000 euros. The checks will be done with a scanner and on the road with special temples that the inspectors will have at their disposal.
As part of strengthening its digital tools, AADE will put into operation another application with which it will be automatically informed by the General Commercial Register (GEMI) about any changes or various changes with the aim of identifying strange capital increases, or changes in the shareholding composition. With the interface, the tax office will receive detailed information regarding changes in administrations, transfers of shares or funds, as well as any movement of administrators, while it will easily identify businesses that have not submitted a tax return.
The procedure for appointing a tax representative is also becoming digital: With the new service, a taxpayer, natural or legal person or legal entity that is a tax resident of Greece or a foreigner, will be able to appoint a natural or legal person, a tax resident of Greece, as a tax representative for the purposes of compliance with the formal obligations arising from the tax procedure code.
