The interest of the Turkish Polin group to cooperate with Greek investors and local government bodies for the construction and operation of a themed aquarium in our country was announced by the sales manager of Polin Aquariums, Cihan Tughral, ​​during his visit to the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs, at the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul.

This is stated in an informational document of the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs that has been sent to the competent bodies, while the following is also disclosed: “Due information was provided regarding the investment framework and the procedures for establishing a company in Greece. We also informed about the activity of the Hellenic Center for Marine Research (ELKETHE) under whose protection the two international standard aquariums of our country and the Hydrobiological Station of Rhodes operate.

In the course of the discussion, the interlocutor mentioned that at the present stage, the company Polin Aquarium is scouting in order to investigate any interest in participation from Greek partners, in all phases of the project, which under the title “National Aquarium Investment” will concern the construction and operation of a world-class aquarium in our country. The return of the investment capital, the amount of which is debatable, is estimated to be completed by the returns of two years of operation.
