Share prices recorded a small retreat in the last session of the week at Athens Stock Exchangeamid limited trading activity.

O General Price Index closed at 1,443.13 points, down 0.24%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,437.66 points (-0.62%).

On a weekly basis, the main stock market index registered an increase of 0.83%, while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of 11.60%.

The value of transactions amounted to 74.61 million euros, while 15,386,708 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.27%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.46%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Jumbo (+2.14%), Sarantis (+2.02%), Coca Cola HBC (+0.60%) and PPC (+0 .52%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Autohellas (-1.75%), Eurobank (-1.31%), National Bank (-1.1.30%) and PPA (-1.28%).

Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 4,180,276 and 3,343,243 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Piraeus with 10.17 million euros and National with 9.76 million euros.

41 stocks moved up, 56 fell and 25 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Leventeris (k) +8.33% and Minerva +6.19%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Mermeren -7.41% and Attica Publications -6.81%.
