Panel SA: President of Podemos, who is a woman, must comment on audios attributed to Arthur do Val

by

Podemos, which is chaired by a woman, federal deputy Renata Abreu (SP), should comment on the audios circulating on the internet this Friday (4) attributed to the party’s state deputy, Arthur do Val.

This is the opinion of businessman Fabio Aguayo, one of the supporters of former judge Sergio Moro’s candidacy for the same party.

“I think they will transfer to Renata [Abreu] speak as party president. It’s her base, which is São Paulo”, says Aguayo.

For the businessman, it would not be Moro’s responsibility to talk about the matter. The ex-judge released a note of repudiation of the case on Friday night and said he hoped his party would respond soon.

“The guy [Arthur do Val] He’s a deputy, he’s an adult, he left Brazil to go to Ukraine, he didn’t go on an official or party mission. It was as a citizen, as he presented himself”, says the businessman, who is director of CNTur, an association for the tourism sector.

Aguayo says he hopes that the release of the audios will not hinder Moro’s campaign.

The sexist audios attributed to Arthur do Val say that Ukrainian women are “easy because they are poor”.

The deputy and another leader of the MBL (Movimento Brasil Livre) announced a trip to Ukraine to help in the war, in a movement against the neutrality of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

Sought by the SA Panel, the deputy did not respond.
