Former Ukrainian ambassador to Brazil, Fabiana Tronenko, released a video repudiating the sexist audios attributed to state deputy Arthur do Val (Podemos-SP), which circulated on the internet this Friday (4).
“He is ridiculous, a cretin. I ask you to have more respect for Ukrainian women, because they are not easy because they are poor. They are women, they are decent, they are honorable people,” he says.
Tronenko asks for respect for the suffering of the Ukrainian population from the war, which has lasted more than a week since the Russian attack.
“God forbid the Government of São Paulo to have a governor like you, because you are a disgrace”, he concludes. The deputy, known as Mamãe Falei, is a pre-candidate for Palácio dos Bandeirantes.
The former ambassador also published a message on social media asking for the removal of the deputy’s mandate “for a crime against the honor of Ukrainian women”.
The sexist audios attributed to Arthur do Val say that Ukrainian women are “easy because they are poor” and that the refugee queue has more beautiful women than the “best club in Brazil”.
The deputy and another leader of the MBL (Movimento Brasil Livre) announced a trip to Ukraine to help in the war, in a movement against the neutrality of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
