Share prices closed with a mild rise in today’s Stock Exchange session, with the market exceeding the levels of 1,460 units.

The market completed three consecutive bullish sessions during which the main stock index recorded a total gain of 2.59%.

Among the high capitalization, the shares of Elvalhalcor, OTE National and PPA stood out.

O General Price Index closed, at the highs of the day, at 1,462.06 points, marking an increase of 0.55%.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,449.14 points (-0.34%).

The value of the transactions amounted to 114.65 million euros, while 20,722,419 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.51%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.31%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Elvalhalcor (+3.83%), PPA (+2.94%), OTE (+2.19%), Ethniki (+2.08 %) and Viohalco (+1.89%).

On the contrarythe biggest drop was recorded by the shares of GEK TERNA (-0.79%), Aegean (-0.75%) and Lamda Development (-0.53%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by National Bank and Alpha Bank, trading 4,019,644 and 3,418,566 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value National team scored with 31.20 million euros and Piraeus with 12.18 million euros.

62 stocks moved up, 38 fell and 28 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Frigoglass +9.71% and Foodlink +5.44%.

The biggest drop the shares recorded: Tria ‘Alfa(k) -9.21% and Minerva -4.13%.
