The program remains open for applications from interested parties until the budget is exhausted
Three key changes in the program “Change Device for Business”in the amount of 105.60 million euros, foresees a decision by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Thodoros Skylakakis and the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Mr. Nikos Papathanasis.
In particular, the Ministerial Decision provides for:
1. Simplifying the ability to achieve the energy goal set by the program. Specifically, for appliance replacements (e.g. air conditioner, refrigerator, oven, heat pump, etc.), a new emission certificate for each appliance will be sufficient. Energy inspectors or auditors will be able to issue it (before and after its installation), instead of using an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) or an energy audit.
2. Inclusion of farmers among the potential beneficiaries of the program, with the possibility of submitting applications from today, Thursday, September 26, 2024.
3. Support for recycled devices, amounting to 250 euros per device (with a maximum limit of 500 euros), in addition to the support for eligible costs
The program remains open for applications from interested parties until the budget is exhausted.
In the meantime, evaluations of submitted applications are underway. Within the next period of time, the relevant integration decisions of the beneficiaries will be posted. With the inclusion decision, the beneficiaries will be able to open special escrow accounts, where the total amount of the aid will be transferred.
Applications are submitted through the program’s electronic platform: https://exoikonomo-epixeiro2023.gov.gr and the direct evaluation method (First in-First out) is applied.
