INTRACOM Group recorded pre-tax profit of 5.5 million euros in the first half of 2024. It also recorded strong liquidity of 161.5 million euros, while total assets exceeded 0.5 billion euros. The value of the group’s portfolio in listed companies (Athens and Copenhagen Stock Exchanges) on 6/30/2024 amounted to 130 million euros.

As noted in a related announcement, the main priority of the group is the development of its business planning, with the peak point being the strategic acquisition of “EUROPE Insurance”, a move that expands the group’s portfolio and is expected to lead to a strengthening of its size.

The acquisition of a 7.1% stake in INTRALOT through a stake in AMK at the end of 2023, its further strengthening during the first half of 2024, but also its progressive strengthening until today when the stake exceeds 9.6%, as well as and holdings in INTRAKAT and OPTIMA, as expected, yielded high capital gains.

The president and managing director of the INTRACOM group, Sokratis Kokkalis, said: “We are moving at a fast pace in the implementation of the group’s new business plan, as presented in May at the regular general meeting of the company. The merger of INTRACOM PROPERTIES with KLM is in full progress, with the ultimate aim of acquiring EUROPE Insurance and creating a capable structure that will substantially expand the group’s investment horizon and its areas of activity, strengthen its financial figures and add value to the company and its shareholders. Our choice to participate in the equity capital of listed companies, with INTRALOT prominent of course, is once again proving to be a dynamic pillar of profit generation”.
