Especially this year, Gov.gr Wallet is awarded, a digital tool that we continuously strengthen with capabilities and documents in order to reduce bureaucracy and make it easier for citizens. It fills us with satisfaction that this work is recognized internationally. At the same time, it gives us an impetus to continue the implementation of our design more intensively. Already in addition to important public documents, our digital wallet is the means to enter the stadiums safely, to complete procedures without paperwork. It will be further strengthened by contributing to the goal of a digital, efficient state.”
The Secretary General of Information Systems and Digital Governance, Demosthenes Anagnostopoulos stated that “the second consecutive award of the Ministry of Digital Governance and the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance with the first prize in the category ‘Digital Transformation of the Year for the Public Sector’ at the WITSA Awards confirms our progress in the implementation of innovative solutions that transform the operation of the state and service to citizens. The connection of the actions is obvious, as Gov.gr Wallet, which won first place this year, draws all the necessary data from the Interoperability Center, which was awarded last year. This highlights the importance of innovative infrastructures for the development of the digital services of the YPsiD.
