Eight sportsmen and women declared their participation in the international table tennis tournament in Belgium

For the first time this year, the international open table tennis championship of Belgium included in its program the age category of male and female athletes up to 21 years old.

Based on this, mainly the element in the individual Open of 2025 that will be held November 10-13, a large presence is created for the Greek colors, since five of our athletes and three athletes have declared to compete in the annual event.

They are Alexandros Madesis and Malamatenia Papadimitriou of AEK, Stathis Manolopoulos, Stella Tzaridou, Yiannis Malamoudis of AS Pera Athens, Giorgos Kosmas of DAO Tavros, Yiannis Koutras of AO Xylokastro and Evangelia Meramvelliotakis of Olympiakos.

Everyone, in fact, is going to take part and test their strength through several matches in two age categories, as the competitions are Men singles, Women singles, U21 Boys singles and U21 Girls singles.

Konstantinos Kostopoulos will be the only coach in the team.

The Belgian Open Championship will be hosted at the “Hall Sportif Du Paire” in the town of Pepinster.

The announcement states that the men-women category will be played with progressive knockout and classification and the Under 21 category with groups initially and knockout matches later.
