The interface between POS and cash registers is proving to be “golden” for financial affairs.

According to the SKAI reportthis is a not inconsiderable amount of which the tax office could not have known, until and before the connection was made, a fact which in itself justifies the choice of the financial staff to insist on this measure.

The data available to the Ministry of Finance show an explosive increase in receipts via POS which, after the interface with the cash registers, appear directly in the AADE.

Focus

As for the catering sector, for the whole of last year the turnover was 6.8 billion euros, while in the eight months from January to August this year 5.5 billion euros have passed through the POS, an indication that makes it clear that at a level twelve months, this amount will be higher.

Indicatively, it is estimated that, if we hypothetically calculate how in the sector in question POS views continue even at the same rate (and not possibly with an acceleration), the turnover at the end of the year will reach 7.9 billion since 1, 1 billion essentially appears “as if by magic”.

Taxi

In the eight months of January-August, the turnover of taxi via POS reached 50 million euros against 26 million euros in 2024 as a whole, an amount estimated to reach 73 million euros at the end of the year

Hairdressers – Beauty centers

Smaller are the amounts that arise for the companies in question, which in 2023 had a total turnover of 505 million euros and in the eight months show 371 million, with estimates for the end of the year calculating the total amount at 575 million euros.
