With marginal rise closed the stock market in the last session of October, with the market recording significant monthly losses of 4.77%. The bank shares index closed with a drop of 8.4%.

O General Price Index closed today at 1,382.68 points, marking a marginal increase of 0.06%.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,392.41 units (+0.77%) and a lower price at 1,378.36 units (-0.25%).

The value of the transactions amounted to 149.533 million euros, while 33,094,196 shares were traded.

THE high-cap index fell 0.30%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.64%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Lamda Development (+2.925), ELPE (+2.76%), Autohellas (+2.71%), EYDAP (+2.66%) , Ellactor (+2.19%) and PPC (+2.12%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of OTE (-3.68%), Mytileneos (-2.26%), Jumbo (-2.00%) and GEK TERNA (-1.03%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Piraeus, trading 7,173,855 and 6,704,585 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 29.72 million euros and Piraeus with 23.11 million euros.

64 stocks moved up, 40 down and 17 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Leventeris(p) +25.93% and Frigoglass +9.62%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Leventeris(k) -6.94% and Intertek -5.88%.
