Increase sales about 6% presented in October o Jumbo Group compared to the corresponding month last year.

According to a related announcement, this performance maintained the growth rate of the Group’s sales during the 10 months of 2024 (January-October) at approximately +7%. With the new stores in Romania and Cyprus now fully operational and assuming current conditions do not deteriorate further, management believes the target of 4% sales growth for 2024 is achievable.

In more detail, in Greece in October 2024, the net sales of the parent company (not counting intra-company transactions), showed an increase of approximately 8%. Overall for the 10 months of 2024, the parent company’s net sales – excluding intercompany transactions – showed an increase of approximately 7%, compared to 2023.

The sales of the Cyprus stores, during October 2024, were increased by approximately 2%. At the end of October, the new privately owned superstore in Nicosia started operating. In total, the sales of stores in Cyprus for the 10th month of 2024 have increased by approximately 1%, compared to the corresponding period last year.

In Bulgaria network sales in October 2024 were up by around 6%. In total, sales in Bulgaria, for the 10th month of 2024, have increased by approximately 8%, compared to the corresponding period last year.

In Romania, the sales of the network as well as the online store (www.e-jumbo.ro) recorded an increase of approximately 4% in October 2024, compared to the corresponding month last year. Towards the end of October, the new privately owned superstore in Bucharest started operating. Overall, sales in Romania, for the 10 months of 2024, are up by around 11%, compared to the corresponding period last year.
