Adjusted earnings before taxes, interest and depreciation (EBITDA) of the Lavipharm Group from continuing operations in the nine months of 2024 showed an increase of 21.2%, amounting to 9.08 million. euros against 7.55 million euros in the corresponding period of the previous year. Accordingly, total adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to 9.42 million. euros against 7.47 million euros showing an increase of 26.1%.
It is noted that the costs have been incurred in the amount of 1.02 million. euros, which is the non-cash (accounting) illustration that corresponds to the specific period and concerns the valuation of the stock award plan and stock option plan programs.
Consolidated sales before Clawback & Rebates were 47.38 million. euros against 40.85 million euros in the corresponding period last year, recording a double-digit increase of 16.0%. The gross profit of the nine months of 2024 amounted to 19.89 million. euros for an amount of 16.35 million euros in the corresponding period of 2023, significantly strengthened by 21.6%.
Consolidated profit before tax from continuing operations amounted to 4.28 million. euros for an amount of 2.83 million euros during the nine months of 2023 showing a significant increase of 51.3%. Total profits after tax amounted to 9.22 million. euros for an amount of 2.10 million euros during the nine months of 2023 marking an increase of 338.6% due to the recognition of a deferred tax asset arising from the Group’s decision to liquidate subsidiaries which had previously accumulated significant losses.
The net borrowing of Lavipharm Group on 30/09/2024 amounted to 26.04 million. euro. In terms of sales, the export sector shows an increase of 11.4%. Domestically, and due to recent acquisitions, sales of prescription drugs are up 28.0% and over-the-counter (OTC) sales are up 13.8%. The other sales of the Group, which represent 4.8% of the total turnover and concern ancillary activities, recorded a decrease of 18.5%.
