By decision of the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasisis included in Recovery and Resilience Fund her grant Public Employment Service (DYPA) for the implementation of the training programs that will concern skills in high demand in Greece in cutting-edge sectors, with a total public expenditure of 103,744,000 euros.

The thematic subjects of the targeted training programs will be selected by DYPA, based on the current framework, available data and relevant studies on the labor market, but also in collaboration with bodies representing cutting-edge industries, so that they meet the needs and objectives of the proposed reform of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”.

The potential beneficiaries are estimated to amount to 38,500 and the training hours up to 250. The training programs can be implemented both by the method of live training and remotely (synchronous and asynchronous tele-training) and include theoretical training and, where provided, practical training exercise. In the context of the implementation of the training programs, a training fee is foreseen (educational allowance via voucher), as well as the cost of training and certification providers, which will be specified when the relevant invitation is published.

The project is part of the axis “strengthening the digital capabilities of education and modernizing vocational education and training” of the “Employment, Skills, Social Cohesion” pillar of the Recovery and Resilience Fund. Ministry of responsibility and funding body is the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and implementation body is the Public Employment Service.
