The main prize of Nota Fiscal Paulista, of R$ 1 million, went out of state for the first time since the program was launched in 2007.
The winner is a resident of Feira de Santana, Bahia, according to the Ministry of Finance.
She had shopped in São Paulo in November last year and competed with only nine tickets.
Other consumers in the municipalities of Jacareí, São Bernardo do Campo and São Roque, all in São Paulo, received the R$ 500,000 in March prizes.
According to the folder, in all, there were 655 prizes in the month, totaling R$ 6.7 million.
Nota Fiscal Paulista has already returned more than R$17.4 billion to program participants since it was created.
