“Smart Manufacturing” supports 151 businesses from all over the country with a subsidy of more than 102 million euros – 70% in micro and small businesses
The Deputy Minister of Development Anna Mani – Papadimitriou signed yesterday the final results of the “Smart Manufacturing“, a flagship action funded by the Recovery and Resilience Fund.
“Smart Manufacturing” supports 151 businesses from all over the country with a subsidy of over 102 million euros. 70% of the budget is directed to very small and small businesses, while the remaining 30% to medium-sized ones, essentially contributing to their digital transformation and strengthening their competitiveness, in the direction given by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis for a sustainable, balanced and fair development.
Participating companies gain the opportunity to invest in technological innovations such as 5G infrastructure, mechanical equipment, automation, robotics and artificial intelligence, creating the conditions to upgrade their production lines and develop high added value products.
