Panel SA: Owner of Havan postpones date to announce if he will be a candidate in 2022

by

After postponing the date of the announcement of his possible candidacy in the 2022 elections, businessman Luciano Hang must communicate his decision next Friday (18).

The event will take place in Brusque (SC), the entrepreneur’s hometown.

The announcement was initially scheduled for March 10, but Hang canceled saying that he had appointments that could not be rescheduled.

The businessman has been making suspense about his intentions in politics since the beginning of 2018. At the time, he stated that he would only continue as a political activist. In recent months, he has put the subject back on the agenda, including with his traditional video performances, which he publishes on social media.

Hang still does not reveal the acronym or the position and still leaves doubts if, in fact, he will run in the 2022 elections. On the internet, he has ventilated that the Senate vacancy for Santa Catarina would be an alternative. The option of running for state governor seems off the horizon.

According to the electoral calendar, April 2 is the date by which applicants in this year’s election must have their affiliation deferred by the party, provided that the party statute does not establish a longer term.
