Panel SA: CPTM and Sebrae give entrepreneurship course to street vendor of trains

by

CPTM and Sebrae-SP will open a new group of entrepreneurs training course for street vendors who work on platforms, stations and trains next month.
Called Nos Trilhos do Empreendedorismo, the partnership between the state government and Sebrae should serve 60 students in this round.

The idea is to introduce professionals into legalized commerce with guidelines on formalizing their businesses and basic management knowledge for running micro-enterprises.

“It’s an effort to give CPTM street vendors the opportunity to formalize themselves as individual micro-entrepreneurs. We give free courses for them to learn how to plan and, eventually, even a microcredit through Banco do Povo to have working capital, and somewhere in a station, in areas that CPTM is defining so that he can have his business later”, says Wilson Poit, superintendent director of Sebrae-SP.

After training and already with CNPJ, they are able to compete for spaces offered by CPTM for the implementation of their points of sale.
