Yazitsi: “I love Olympiacos, I could die for him”

by

Olympiacos took the difficult victory against Asteras Aktor, with his great protagonist Yusuf Yazitsiwho put him ahead with the beautiful goal he scored at 90 ‘+4’!

At the end of the match, the midfielder of the “reds” talked about the very difficult time he was going through with the serious injury that plagued him so much, while expressing the great love he felt for Olympiacos and all those who had long supported him.

In detail what he said:

“It is really incredible what has happened, because last year in my first appearance against Astera Aktor I was seriously injured. It kept me out for nine months out, I couldn’t help, I couldn’t play to offer the team what I wanted.

But today, I am very happy and proud of myself, because I managed to get into this same team and open the score, helping the team and making our fans happy. This is very beautiful.

The truth is I was in the best position at the moment. I thought that if I got the ball, the time would come when the goal would come and so it was and the goal came in. It’s no surprise, no one is surprised, not even me and expect more than you can imagine ».

About how much the goal was waiting for: “I have been working for nine months. I want to be better than before. At the moment I may not be 100%yet, but I work and I am sure I will be the best before.

I also want to state that I really love this club. I love him and I could do everything for him. I could die for him. I feel so grateful for the support I had for these nine months.

When I couldn’t even walk well after surgery. I was very supported by the President, Mr. Marinakis, all my teammates and the whole world, who always supported me, greeting me outside the stadium and asking for things.

So when someone treats you like being a king, all you have to do is pay back. It’s time to pay back now. So I have grown up, so I have learned from my father, to be grateful and to be here ready, to constantly push myself to become as best as possible to be able to pay back to our fans, in the world, my teammates and all this club I adore.

I am grateful and I want to declare that I love Olympiacos ».
