“Educational allowance» which can even reach 1,000 euros, thousands of unemployed people have the opportunity to claim, through the new Continuing Professional Education program in digital, green and financial skills of DYPA. The process of submitting the relevant applications from interested parties has started and the platform will continue to accept applications until the available positions are filled.
Each trainee will attend a theoretical training program, with a total duration of 200 hours. After completing the training, the beneficiaries will participate in knowledge and skills certification exams by independent bodies.
Who will get the 1,000 euros?
Those who succeed will receive the full training allowance, up to 1,000 euros (5 euros per hour of training).

Those who meet the conditions for participation will be added to the Register of Beneficiaries and will be able to choose the training program they wish to attend from the list of programs offered.

The “profile” of the potential beneficiaries
The “profile” of potential beneficiaries (minimum conditions for participation) should have the following characteristics:
– educational level (compulsory education/ secondary/ post-secondary/ tertiary)
– knowledge of English language (level B2/C1/ C2/not required)
– other prerequisites for participation (indicate if an additional specific degree/s, professional experience or other conditions for participation are required)
The continuing professional training programs submitted by the training providers provide theoretical training of a total duration of 50 to 200 hours, according to the terms and conditions of each invitation.
Since the programs to be implemented include only theoretical training, it is recommended that active pedagogical techniques, suitable for adults, such as case studies, role playing or simulations of real professional situations, project-based learning), cooperative learning, etc., with the aim of developing critical professional horizontal skills.
In cases where the training subject is linked to a certified professional outline, the curriculum of the training program must take into account, in the formulation of the intended learning outcomes, the Main and Partial Professional Functions of the respective professional outline, in order to properly prepare the trainees for “modular” certification of professional skills.
The quality of the educational material
The basic criteria for determining the quality of the training material to be used by the Training Providers concern:
– its relevance to the educational modules and objectives of the program
– in its response to modern work requirements
– in its suitability in terms of the educational level of the potential beneficiaries
– in its availability and
– in its adaptability to an electronic environment.
The program, with a total budget of 100 million euros, aims to link training with the needs of the labor market and to strengthen the employability of the unemployed for their faster reintegration into work.
The program “runs” within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with the funding of the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
