The determination of the Ministry of Justice for streaming platforms to remove the film “How to Become the Worst Student at School” from the air has reached even those who do not show the production.
Amazon, owner of Prime Video, says the comedy by Fábio Porchat and Danilo Gentili was never on its streaming service.
The company was targeted by the Ministry of Justice, which published this Tuesday (15) a determination for production to be removed immediately, after Bolsonaro government officials such as Damares Alves (Human Rights), Mario Frias (Culture) and Anderson Torres (Justice) complained about the content.
The agency’s target also included Netflix, Telecine and Globoplay (from Globo), YouTube and Apple. The forecast is a daily fine of R$ 50 thousand for non-compliance.
The two brands of Globo claim that it is censorship and cannot be fulfilled. Apple says it will not comment.
