Tuesday 21 January 2025 is the deadline for funding applications for the new entrepreneurship program for unemployed 30-59 year olds, with a focus on women.
The aim of the action, with a total budget of 100,000,000 euros, is to promote entrepreneurship, through the creation of new small and medium-sized businesses by 5,880 unemployed people. Already more than 3,500 applications have either been submitted or are being processed.
The duration of the grant is 12 months, starting on the date of commencement of business activity. The amount of support for each new business amounts to €17,000 and is paid in three installments as follows:
• 1st installment of 4,600 euros: after the start of activity
• 2nd installment of 6,200 euros: after the end of the first semester
• 3rd installment of 6,200 euros: after the end of the second semester
The funding application, which includes a proposal of their business plan, is submitted electronically to the Integrated Information System of State Aids (OPSKE) of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance at the online address opske.gr/el
The applications will be evaluated by DYPA in order to select the business proposals that will be included with the comparative evaluation methodology.
The program is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund+ within the framework of the “Human Resources and Social Cohesion” Program 2021-2027.
