– Depending on the category to which the beneficiary falls, the percentage of the financial aid starts from 50%, while in some cases even 100% of the investment cost is covered.
– Includes separate incentives (increased grant rate and special budget) to support families with a disabled member/members, victims of Thessaly (including the earthquake-affected beneficiaries of the municipal community of Damasio of the Municipality of Tyrnavos), earthquake victims of Arkalochori and Samos, families with at least three dependent children and vulnerable households.
-Eligible program costs include the following:
- window replacement,
- installing/upgrading thermal insulation,
- heating/cooling system upgrade,
- domestic hot water system using Renewable Energy Sources (RES),
- other energy saving interventions, such as the installation of a smart management system (smarthome) and energy storage systems (batteries).
The heating degree days will be used as a criterion for evaluating the energy upgrade proposals that will be submitted and priority will be given to the coldest regions of the country, given their special needs.
“Save 2025” and “Change Heating System and Water Heater” are implemented in the framework of “RePowerEU”, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with the funding of the European Union-NextGeneration EU.
