Signed and published in Government Gazette The Ministerial Decision on Increase of contributions of professional and farmer by 2.7% for the 2025.
Freelancers will be required to pay contributions from EUR 244.65 to EUR 659.39, while self -employed persons subject to assemblies and lump sum contributions will pay from EUR 320.37 per month up to EUR 767.74. These amounts should add 10 euros corresponding to the unemployment contribution.
Correspondingly, about 300,000 farmers will see their contributions increased, also by 2.7%, and will have to choose between the first insurance category of 145.63 euros and the 6th category of 394.94 euros. Increases start from 6.43 euros per month or EUR 77.16 per year for main insurance contributions, and reach up to € 17.33 (6th category per month). They should also add to 2.7% of healthcare contributions (in kind and in money) and the contributions and lump sum benefits.
The deadline for the selection of an insurance category expires at midnight, while those who do not choose a new category will remain in the one they had declared last year.
