Another channel: Rodrigo Bocardi served Bradesco while working at Globo

Rodrigo Bocardi did consulting services, event presentation and media training to Bradesco without warning Globo, where he worked in some situations. Companies in their name issued service notes to the bank at least between 2017 and 2023.

In this second case, according to the column, a company linked to the journalist has prepared Bradesco interviewees and executives to talk better with customers, events and interviews. His superiors did not know this situation until the investigation by Globo compliance.

This practice, made by Bocardi, is prohibited by the Code of Ethics and Conduct of Grupo Globo, as the subject would configure conflict of interest.

“Globo members should not perform activities, paid or not, in organizations that have conflicting objectives with the guidelines and principles set forth in this Code or have a business relationship with any company, whose hiring by Grupo Globo is direct or indirect responsibility of the member In question, or that, for other reasons, it can configure conflict of interest, “says the company’s code.

Bocardi was fired by recommendation of the company’s compliance after an investigation that detected ethics break. At first, the accusation made against him was for bullying, but nothing was proved.
