Sending the 2022 Income Tax return has an error; know how to correct

by

Taxpayers who try to send the 2022 income tax return to the Federal Revenue are reporting an error that prevents transmission of the document. The failure delays the accountability of those who prefer to settle accounts with the Lion right at the beginning of the deadline to declare.

The IR 2022 campaign started on March 7 and the deadline for transmitting the document is until 23:59 on April 29. Whoever is obliged to declare and misses the deadline pays a minimum fine of R$ 165.74, which can reach 20% of the tax due in the year.

According to taxpayers’ reports, when finishing the process and trying to send the declaration to the IRS, the following message appears: Error! IRPF 2022 validator. Transmission was not completed. E 11 – The CPF declaration XXX.XXX.XXX-XX fiscal year 2022 was not delivered. Install the new version of the IRPF program, on the Federal Revenue website, at gov.br/receitafederal, and transmit again”.

Contributors must follow the guidance that appears when trying to submit and reinstall the IR program, as the version has been updated. Those who will send through the app should also check the versions and update the app, if necessary.

According to the IRS, in addition to reinstalling it is necessary to answer “Yes” when the new program asks if the taxpayer wants to preserve the data already typed. If you don’t, you’ll lose all the work you ever had.

“It is necessary to do exactly what is in the message: download version 1.1 of the PGD IRPF, directly on the RFB page, install and transmit again. Remembering that in the installation you will be asked if you want to preserve the data already typed” says a note from the Revenue .

More than 4 million have already declared

A total of 4,078,588 taxpayers have already submitted the 2022 Income Tax return until 11 am on Wednesday (16), the last available data. This week, the pre-filled declaration was released, it can be used by all taxpayers who have a gov.br account at the gold or silver levels.

The pre-completed declaration has information related to income, deductions, assets and rights and debts already sent by the sources and which are already included directly in the IR program. However, whoever chooses the model must check the data well, as the final information is the responsibility of the taxpayer.

You are obliged to declare the IR workers, retirees and public servants who received taxable income of more than R$ 28,559.70 in the year 2021. to declare.

Anyone who had transactions on the Stock Exchange, moved to the country in 2021 and was here on December 31, or made a profit from the sale of goods and rights in the year, also enters the mandatory list. There are still other rules that oblige to declare.

Anyone who is not required to declare, but will send the IR to have the refund, needs to be aware of the information that must be provided. It is necessary to complete the entire document, informing, in addition to personal data and income received, expenses you had in the year and assets and rights, in addition to debts, if applicable.

See when the refund will be paid

Anyone who declares the IR right at the beginning of the term receives the refund before. However, in the first batches, the tax authorities pay the legal priorities. They include the elderly over 80 years old, in addition to those between 60 and 79 years old. Priority in payment is also given to taxpayers or dependents with physical or mental disabilities or serious illness, as well as to those who have teaching as a major source of income.

Then, the payment begins to be made for the other citizens who declared the IR, according to the order of delivery of the declaration. 34.1 million accountability documents are expected.
