The successful debt arrangements in the out -of -court mechanism in January has rose 46.51% compared to January 2024.

Specifically, there were 1,575 arrangements corresponding to € 515 million in debt to 1,075 arrangements corresponding to debts of € 425 million last year in January.

The new applications as well as the final applications submissions in January 2025, which were 5,150 and 2,760 respectively, continued at high levels.

At the same time, 2,673 vulnerable households have benefited from debt arrangements, according to the adopted obligation, recording an increase of 10.36% compared to December 2024. In addition, 154 debtors managed to suspend scheduled auctions by using the measure.

To date, the total number of successful arrangements is 30,515 and the total value of regulated debts of € 10.01 billion. It is a 132.92% increase compared to January 2024, which the total successful arrangements were 13,101 and the regulated debts were worth € 4.79 billion.

There are also information on the status of red loans left by banks, but also on bilateral arrangements implemented in December 2024 by loan and credit management companies: The four largest companies made a total value of 412.5 million . The majority of these arrangements relate to mortgages for 3 of the 4 creditors in different types of regulation.

It is recalled that, with the aim of more efficiently utilizing the available debt settlement tools, the General Secretariat for Private Debt Management and Private Debt Management provides a nationwide service with a video call or telephone by a platform.
