To be a program beneficiary should meet cumulative The following criteria:

  • Beneficiary has the ownership or usufruct of the property at least 50%
  • The property for renovation does not exceed 100sq.m. and is in a residential area
  • The property not to be stated as a first residence
  • The property is not leased but also to be stated as a gap in form E2 for the last three years.
  • The interested party must have an annual family taxable income – real or imputed – up to € 40,000. At the same time the value of his real estate should not exceed 300,000 €
  • The person concerned should not have been included in another subsidized energy saving or renovation program in the last 5 years.

The program predicts that 50% of the subsidy can be given as an advance which will significantly facilitate those with a lack of liquidity. The remaining 50% will be paid after proof of the lease of the property.

As eligible Expenditure is accounted for among other things:

  • Renovation of bathrooms – hygiene – kitchen spaces a

  • Replacement or repair of Hermes,

  • Replacement or repair of electrical and hydraulic installations

As with all similar programs, the relevant renovation costs must have been paid electronically. Payments must also be made within 6 months of the approval of the subsidy, otherwise the decision is revoked and any advance shall be sought as unjustly paid.

Particularly important is that the program has retroactive effect as it is for those who had been accepted in its first form and had been incorporated since April 8, 2024 when the platform had opened. This means that someone “old” Beneficiary may add new eligible expenses, which he had not included in his original request

Anyone concerned may apply for 1 property. No more than one applications for the same property may be submitted.
Therefore, in the case of more than 1 gentlemen or usufructors on the property, only one of them may apply, provided the consent of the rest.

The application is submitted to the special implementation of the program, which is accessible through Gov.gr. When entering the application and before submitting the application, the VAT is drawn up. of the person concerned as well as the number of the approval decision to be subject to the program already issued.
