On February 18, 2025, the closed debate of leaders on the topic: “Credit risk management as a factor in enhancing business competitiveness” was held with great success “organized by the Greek Council of Competitiveness with the sponsorship of Tiresia.

The event was hosted at the Athenian Club and held under the rules of Chatham House, ensuring a sincere and meaningful dialogue between senior business executives, the academic community and institutions, which highlighted, among other things:

The importance of reliable, integrated and real -time business information to significantly reduce credit risk and ensuring their viability.

The need to support the small and medium -sized business management especially, the reduction of fraud and the reduction of the unsolved, which Tiresias contributes to the check -in, which provides reliably financial and business data.

Proposals of institutional changes, such as reducing the time of repayment of businesses by the state and the performance of corporate VAT to every professional and the need to train businesses in proper management of information available through credit training

The event was predicted by Mr. Simos Anastassopoulos, President of the Council of Competitiveness of Greece, while Dr. Venice Cusia, Council Executive Director. The Tiresias was represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Solomon Berachas, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Elias Xirouhakis, the General Manager, Dr. Petros Kapasouris and the Commercial Manager, Mr. Ioannis Paloglou.

The bodies and companies represented in the discussion were: ENERGY, Selected Volt, EXECUTIVE BIOGERA FARSALON, HELLENIQ ENERGY HOLDINGS, IMS, OPA, Panhellenic Association of Suppliers of Ships and Exporters, UNI Systems.

The conclusions of the debate are reflected in White Paper, published by the Greek Council of Competitiveness, enhancing public dialogue and contributing to the formation of effective strategies for the business community.
