More than 1 million tickets have already been sold for the 2026 World Cupwill be held from June 11 to July 19, as announced by FIFA.
The highest demand, as expected, came from buyers in the US, Canada and Mexico – the three nations that will host the tournament. The tickets for the World Cup final in East Rutherford, New Jersey are sold at prices ranging from $9,538 to $57,500.
Fans who bought tickets in this first round of availability were selected from 4.5 million applicants in a lottery held last month. The entry period for the next draw will open for fans on October 27. There are still around 7.1 million seats to be filled for the 104 World Cup matches. Ticket figures showed the cheapest were set at $60, for at least 40 games.
