In operation the New Digital Interoperability Application of the ICISNET Customs Information System with the single EU CSW-Certex pretension certificates, applied by the European Union Customs Authorities and provided for in Union legislation in areas such as health, environment and product safety. The new application is the first step of the single window for the pretelling processes.

Through the new interoperability, it is now possible to carry out automated validity and quantity management controls, in real time, with the aim of verifying the required formalities, facilitating trade and enhancing the effectiveness of controls.

With the new interoperability:

  • The exchange of information between customs and other competent authorities is automated, reducing bureaucracy.
  • It facilitates the processing and checking of documents (permits, certificates, approvals), ensuring faster imports.
  • Transparency and safety in the movement of goods is improved, with a focus on compliance with European law on health, environment and product safety.
  • Customs procedures with the details of administrative decisions is made.

New features provided by the application:

  • Control of supporting documents for documents: automated document verification, recovery and transmission to national single door. The system exchanges information between the national customs door and the relevant European systems, ensuring that customs can quickly and effectively control the necessary documents.
  • Automatic quantities management: When checking quantities in a supporting document, the system confirms that declared quantities of goods are in accordance with the permitted, automatically informing the competent authorities.

In order to carry out the automated audits, the financial operators, when submitting the customs declaration, must complete the appropriate certificate /authorization /approval code /etc. as well as the unique reference number of the support of the document declaration with the appropriate format.
