The Central Bank releases, between this Monday (21) and Friday (25), the last batch of the first phase of payments of the Values Receivable System, which returns money forgotten by Brazilians in banks and institutions. This week, taxpayers born after 1983 and legal entities opened in this period receive this week.
To access the amount, you must enter the website valorareceber.bcb.gov.br on the date and time indicated in the initial query to the system. If you have forgotten which day is scheduled, the citizen can make a new appointment. The money will only be released at the exact time.
Payment hours vary: from 4:00 to 14:00 and from 14:00 to 24:00. Whoever misses the day, however, may have another chance to transfer the amounts on Saturday (26), when the system is repechage.
People born before 1983 have already had the consultation and withdrawal released in previous weeks.
According to the Central Bank, there will be a new repechage for all audiences as of March 28.

On the dates below, those who have money to receive will know how much they can withdraw and make the transfer
Date of birth or creation of the company | Period to request the transfer | Repechage date (for those who miss the scheduled date) |
---|---|---|
before 1968 | 7 to 11/3 | 12/mar |
Between 1968 and 1983 | 14 to 18/3 | 19/mar |
after 1983 | 3/21 to 3/25 | 26/mar |
The Central Bank stated that money will be returned in some way to the worker or entrepreneur, even if he misses all the withdrawal dates of this first phase of releasing the values.
“Citizens should not worry if they miss the date for some reason. They can return to valorareceber.bcb.gov.br at any time and receive a new appointment date”, says a note from the institution.
The BC also declared that the consumer never loses the right to the values in his name. “Financial institutions will keep these funds for as long as necessary, waiting until the citizen requests the return.”
In all, 28 million must withdraw R$ 4 billion in this first phase. There are 26 million CPFs and 2 million CNPJs. In the second phase, another R$ 4 billion will be released to Brazilians.
In this first batch of release, there is money forgotten in checking or savings accounts that were closed with the balance still available; unduly charged fees and installments whose return was already provided for in a term of commitment signed with the BC; money from closed consortia; and quotas and surpluses of those who participated in credit unions.

Consultations for the second phase start on May 2
After the first phase of releasing the amounts, which runs from March 7th to 28th, there will be a second phase of payments, which will release money forgotten in banks for other reasons. It is possible for the worker or the entrepreneur to find values in both lots. A date to withdraw the amount will also be informed. The consultation will start on May 2.
The money to be returned in the second phase refers to fees, installments or obligations in credit operations whose return was not provided for in a term signed with the BC, in addition to prepaid or postpaid payment accounts closed with available balance.
There will also be payments in cases of accounts held at brokerages and securities dealers to register clients’ financial assets. In many cases, there are duplicate fee charges, which will also be refunded.
It is at this stage that INSS retirees will be able to redeem undue discounts on payroll loans, according to the Central Bank, and bankrupt companies will be able to recover amounts that were forgotten in some institution.
Heirs still cannot access the money
Heirs or other legal representatives can consult the system if there are amounts to be redeemed. The Central Bank website even shows the date and time for the transfer, but, when returning to the system to withdraw, this is not possible.
The reason is that the financial institution has not yet released the transfer to what it calls “legally authorized third parties”, which involves, in addition to the heirs, attorneys, guardians, administrators and those responsible for a non-emancipated minor.
To receive the money, however, the heirs will need a gov.br account with a silver or gold level for the withdrawal. According to the Central Bank, information on additional procedures for the rescue of this public will be “disclosed soon”.
The transfer can be made by Pix and the amount will be deposited in any account in Brazil with a Pix key registered in the banking system. “If the citizen does not want this option, the form of transfer must be agreed between the parties”, says the monetary authority.
“Login with the silver or gold key is the requirement for citizen identification. The resource can only be transferred to the beneficiary’s own account”, says the Central Bank.
The system itself will provide the contact data with the financial institution where the values are. In order to have access to the money, however, the heir or authorized legal representative must present the documents that prove the right.
Among the documents that should be required are the inventory, which includes the people indicated as legal representatives of the values, and the death certificate. Financial institutions may also request other documents, according to each case.
