A total of 327 unemployed have already been hired in new jobs, through the new Public Employment Service Program (DBA), to subsidize employment in Evros, while 86 unemployed have already been approved to create their own business through the new action of new entrepreneurship for Evros.

It should be noted that, in November 2024, DBA implemented three new actions To boost the labor market in Evros, with a total budget of € 18.5 million:

Schedule of 600 new jobs

The purpose of the program is to create 600 new full -time jobs to hire unemployed of all ages. The grant covers up to 75% of salary and contributions (up to EUR 1,250 monthly) for up to 18 months. The program is aimed at all businesses operating in the Evros Regional Unit. The budget of the action is EUR 13,800,000.

Schedule of 200 new businesses by unemployed

The purpose of the program is to create new businesses by 200 unemployed of all ages, with a total subsidy of € 14,800 per business for 12 months. The budget of the action is EUR 2,960,000.

Program for the acquisition of a professional experience of 200 new unemployed in actions to deal with the consequences of climate change

The purpose of the program is to obtain a professional experience for 200 unemployed, 18-30 years old, seven months, in actions to deal with the consequences of climate change and environmental protection. DBA will pay the minimum wage directly, with full insurance contributions, as well as ratio of holiday gifts and leave allowance. The budget of the action is EUR 1,700,000.
