The European Union and the United States are still doing a lot of work before they are able to smooth out in terms of trade, EU Community Commissioner Maros Sefcovic said on Friday after having talks with US officials.
“We had a significant exchange of views with US Secretary of State Howard Lutnik and Ambassador Jameson Green – a basic prerequisite for better understanding between us,” Sefcovic wrote in a post on the social networking platform.
The European Commissioner added, however, that “there is a lot of work to be done, but let’s stay focused and explore the best ways to move forward in the right direction.”
