The trafficking of goods in the Greek ports in the third quarter of 2024 was slightly reduced compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023, while passenger trafficking was recorded, according to the provisional data of the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

Specifically, the total trafficking of goods in the Greek ports in the third quarter of 2024 decreased by 0.7%, compared to the third quarter of 2023. It is noted that there was no change in the third quarter of the third quarter.

The batch, in terms of the movement of goods, was rescued by domestic goods, which increased by 7.1% mitigated the 2.8% decrease in foreign goods.

At the same time, the total passenger trafficking in Greek ports rose 5.6%, compared to the third quarter of 2023, that is, at a faster rate of 2.6% in the corresponding comparison of the third quarter 2023 to the third quarter 2022.

Finally, the total trafficking of mobile units (wheeled) increased by 6.1% in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023. According to the corresponding comparison of the third quarter 2023 to the third quarter 2022 there was an increase of 2.6%.
