Volos beat Panserraikos with Lambros! Ferrato’s team prevailed 2-1 in Panthessaliko for its 7th matchday Stoiximan Super Leaguescoring a 2nd win in a row (after 5-2 over AEL Novibet).

O 27-year-old ace scored at 90’+1′, tilting the game in favor of the home team, after inactivity of the visitors’ defense. The 1-0 he was only 53 years old Hamulicafter a mistake by Serrai in the rear. The equalizer came in the 67th minute Ivan’s penalty.

In the coach’s mind

With 4-2-3-1 Juan Ferrado lined up Volos. At the goal, Siabanis, Kargas with Hermansson in the stoppers, while Soria and Fortuna in the backs, with Martines-Comba in the midfielders, while Huanpi and Lambru were in the “wings”, with Dzoka behind Hamunic.

Same formation for Panserraikos. Tinalini in goal, with Gelashvili-De Marco as the stoppers, while Lyratzis and Kalinin in the back, with Liassos, Rumiantsev in the midfield, Nanelli and Banzaki in the “wings”, while Brooks behind Ivan.

The match

Volos made an ideal start. Since in his first descent and before a full minute of action was completed (at 53” to be precise) it became 1-0. Huanpi went wide, Panseraikou’s defense reacted badly, with Gelasvili completely losing the phase and the ball reaching the Hamulic which he performed closely.

The same player tried his foot outside the area in 3′ and missed. Two minutes laterVolos reached 2-0, with Lambrou to move nicely from the left, to make the turn to second goal for Soriawho executed from close range and Tinalini kicked away.

Volos also had a great chance in the 17th minute. Dzoka crosses from the right, the ball reaches the second post to Lambrou who misses with projection due to poor balance. In the 22nd minute, Huanpi had a foul miss outside the shooting area.

One of the first and few good moments of Panserraikos in the first half was recorded in the 29th minute. However, the performance of Volos fell in the final stretch, which gave measures to the opponent. Liassos made a shot at the bodies, while then O Rumyantsevwith Siabani blocking. In the next minute, Banzaki made a very strong shot from the left and on the edge of the area, with Siabanis sending off.

Banzaki had a very mistimed shot in the 39th minute for the visitors. In the 45th minute, Volos had a good moment, with Fortuna getting sidelined, while De Marco drove past Hamulic. Then Panserraikos could make it 1-1. THE A beanie hole-balled from the shaft, with Brooks shooting wide from the edge of the box.

There were few good moments in the first quarter of the second half. Essentially an effort of his Lambrouwhose shot was countered and went wide for a corner and another one. In the 59th minute, Lambrou quickly went on the counterattack, with the cross for Dzoka being stronger, as a result of which Siabanis collected.

In the 60th minute, the phase from which the 1-1 started took place. From his effort Marasthe ball found Fortuna. THE Sidiropoulos indicated that there was nothing, but then went for an onfield review, as he was alerted by the VAR. After a delay due to a problem with the intercom, the experienced referee showed the white arrow. THE Ivan he performed brilliantly and defeated him Siambani.

The rest of the time belonged to Volos who pressed for 2-1 and was justified. Soria’s shot in the 74th minute from a left-wing position ended up on the bodies, while three minutes later Koba got a header and Tinalini blocked. The biggest chance was in the 80th minute until 2-1. After a corner, o Lambrou headed in and Tinalini made a great save, falling into his right corner.

At 90’+1′ redemption has come for Volos. Dzoka made a vertical ball, the Panserraikos defense was “punctured” again, as in 1-0, with Feltes not reacting well and Lambrou hit the net.

The visitors wanted to respond in the 90’+8′, with Liasso putting the Kareli who executed strongly, but also misguidedly in the last… roll of the Batsi team in the match.
