Mac Jee, a Brazilian manufacturer of defense equipment, signed a cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia.
Simon Jeannot, chairman of the board of directors of Mac Jee, says that the partnership is an important step towards the creation of a local branch of the Brazilian company.
There is still no forecast for the opening of the unit in Saudi Arabia, the company will expand its manufacturing unit in Paraibuna (SP), which will support the company in the development of new products.
The agreement was signed with the Saudi Ministry of Investment, with the presence of Minister Khalid Al Falih and Deputy Defense Minister Ahmad A. Al-Ohali, the Secretary of Defense Products of the Brazilian government, Marcos Degaut, the head of office of the Secretary of Defense Products, General Luiz Duizit, and of the Brazilian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Marcello Della Nina.
